FinnSonic Cavitec detergents
New – sustainable – acid cleaner for immersion and ultrasonic cleaning
FinnSonic has launched a new detergent formulation: CAVITEC DISCO NEO. It replaces the earlier CAVITEC DISCO.
As before, DISCO NEO will effectively remove oxide layers, mineral deposits and grease from ferrous metals and light alloys. The main active ingredient has been changed to an environmentally friendly acid. Phosphoric acid has been replaced with methanesulfonic acid (MSA). MSA is a modern environmentally friendly acid with powerful cleaning effect, low corrosivity, low odor and biodegradability. All in all, the CAVITEC DISCO NEO formulation provides a more competitive and sustainable option for acid cleaning.

- Mildly alkaline detergent for ultrasonic and spray cleaning
- Optimal for the removal of machining fluids, oil, grease, chip residues
- Extensive material compatibility: steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, copper
- Good corrosion protection
- Excellent low temperature performance 20-40°C
- Strong demulsifying effect – long bath life
- Low residue – even for one step processes
- Dosing 1-6%, temperature 20–80°C

- High alkaline detergent
- Optimal for maintenance applications for injection moulds, zink moulds, glass moulds, cutting and forming tools, engine parts
- Highly concentrated product with high complexing and dispersing capability
- Demulsifying
- Based on potassiumhydroxide – tidy to use
- Dosing 10–40%, temperature 60-80°C
- Concentrate pH 13,5

FINNSONIC CAVITEC BASIO
- Neutral degreasing agent for immersion and ultrasonic cleaning.
- Optimal for the removal of grease, polishing waxes and other contaminants by means of immersion and ultrasonic cleaning.
- Excellent material compatibility. Particularly suitable for copper, light metals and their alloys, and different steels and plastics.
- For cleaning armatures, faucets, jewelry, silverware, etc.
