FinnSonic Oy’s operations are certified in accordance with the latest quality management standard, ISO 9001:2015. The company received its first quality certificate in 1999.
The ISO 9001 standard underwent a significant update in 1999. Its content was changed to better support business and so that it could be utilized more easily. Key changes to the standard include an emphasis on leadership and a more detailed definition of interest groups’ needs.
FinnSonic’s certificate encompasses all of the company’s operations: the design, manufacture, marketing and support processes for ultrasonic cleaning and NDT/FPI lines. “We were enthusiastic about the update to the standard because of its practicality. The new quality system truly supports operational development,” says CEO Tea Lehto. The staff participated extensively in work to update process descriptions and instructions. The certification was carried out by Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy.
FinnSonic maintains and develops a certified, ISO 9001:2015 standard-compliant quality system. Our procedures also meet the requirements set out in standards ISO 14001 and ISO 3834-2.
