FinnSonic Oy web shop terms and conditions

 1. GENERAL TERMS

www.finnsonic.com/webshop is operated by FinnSonic Oy, Lahti (VAT number: FI10810760).
FinnSonic Oy reserves right to modify these terms unilaterally without prior notice.

2. CUSTOMER

FinnSonic web shop sells products to corporate, public administration and community customers, who are purchasing the goods for professional use within European Union. Customers are required to submit sufficient customer information at order entry, including name of contact person, telephone number, email, VAT-number, delivery address and billing address.

Data protection: Customer information is stored in FinnSonic Oy’s customer data base, which is used for customer relationship management. Data is not disclosed to third parties. Only FinnSonic personnel have access to the data with personal passwords. Online payment details are not stored in FinnSonic’s data base.

3. PRODUCTS AND PRICE LISTS

Prices on the web shop are only applicable for orders made through the web shop. VAT and transport costs are not included in prices unless otherwise stated. FinnSonic reserves a right to cancel the order in case of price errors.

A separate agreement with FinnSonic Oy is required for resale of goods.

4. ORDERING

Products to be purchased are added to an electronic shopping cart. Cart contents can be modified up till the payment stage. Delivery and contact details are entered prior to confirming the order. Required fields are marked with asterisk. All orders are confirmed by email with prices, transport costs and ordered products. A valid email address is required at order stage for receiving the order confirmation. Registered customers can access their order information through their user account. Customer agrees to valid terms and conditions with each order.

5. PAYMENT

Payments for web shop orders can be made by: credit cards (at the time of order) or invoice (invoicing customers). Credit card payments are made through Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy’s web site. In case you wish to apply for invoicing, please contact our customer service.

Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard

If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, FinnSonic Oy will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.

With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is also the recipient of the payment.

6. DELIVERY TERMS

Two options are available:
1. DAP (Delivered At Place) Incoterms 2010, FinnSonic arranges transport and costs are shown at order stage.
2. EXW Lahti, Finland (ExWorks) Incoterms 2010, customer fills in his/her transport company and contract number at order stage. FinnSonic calls the pick up when order is ready for dispatch.

Certain products, such as ADR classified detergents do not have transport costs available in the system. In such cases the EXW term is advisable.
Orders are typically shipped within 1-3 days in case all products are available in stock.

7. WARRANTY

Warranty period varies depending on the product group:
• V011M- range ultrasonic cleaners 24 months from delivery date
• Other cleaning equipment 12 months from delivery date
• Spare parts 6 months from delivery date

FinnSonic repairs or replaces defects in material or workmanship free of charge during warranty period with EXW Lahti, Finland delivery term. The warranty does not cover costs for removing or installing components.

Replaced or repaired components are covered by warranty until the end of the original warranty period for the equipment.
Warranty is void in case of use against operating instructions or in case of misuse or negligence.
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of motors, pumps, heating elements, ultrasonic transducers etc.
